[North] How to solve the equation named Ha Giang? (Ep 01)

Updated: Mar 17, 2019

Considered one of the most remote places in northern Vietnam with the most beautiful scenery, Ha Giang province is rarely visited by tourists a few years ago, but the popularity is increasing. Not only the landscape but also the people here are very special. The population of Ha Giang is mainly ethnic minorities with their own unique culture and lifestyle. Most tourists still want to come here and again from time to time. If you like fresh air, great experience and you love wild beauty, discovering something new, you should come here at least once when you come to Vietnam.

Welcome the new day in Ha Giang!

One morning in the autumn, I woke up at my H'mong friend's house. Do not want to step out of the blanket because it is still cold outside. I slowly remembered how I spent a night on the bus and how I came here.

Early sun rays parked on a small window. Outside the house, the cherry blossoms are blooming, birds are singing, children are laughing, H’Mong women are talking and washing clothes at the water source from the mountain. From the kitchen there is a smell of smoke - another H'Mong woman is cooking bran for the herd of hungry pigs. Unable to be lazy forever, I decided to throw up the blanket, step out the door, take a deep breath, fill the lungs with the fresh air and fragrant of mountain forest, the scent of grass running around me.

Ha Giang! It is true Ha Giang! No longer hear car horns loudly, goodbye smog, traffic jams every day. I became a guest again, leaving the crowded city to the farthest part of the country.

Why Ha Giang?

Ha Giang is a mountainous province, located in the northernmost of Vietnam, 320km from Hanoi, adjacent to Lao Cai (where the tourist destination is Sapa), Cao Bang (with Ban Gioc waterfall - one of the most beautiful falls in the world), Tuyen Quang and the North borders China.

Ha Giang Tourism is famous for its unspoiled beauty of nature, its majestic mountains and hills, the most beautiful passages in Vietnam, where the people are hospitable, sincere, honest. Come to Ha Giang, you will be lost in the paradise for travel experience - explore the highlands.

The travelers often say: "Everyone should go to Ha Giang, at least once in his life." And "Who went to Ha Giang once, never forget it!"

Just try it! Those mountains like having magic, the forests' incense is like a drunken yeast.
